Kate mainly assists Chris Wood and James King with dry shipping matters including charterparty disputes (time, voyage and bareboat) and cargo claims both in LMAA Arbitration and the High Court.

During her time with the firm Kate has assisted in obtaining arbitration awards on behalf of clients in relation to a broad range of matters including laytime and demurrage, speed and performance and bunkers disputes.

Prior to qualification, Kate spent three months on secondment at the Hong Kong office of a leading International Group P&I Club where she gained valuable experience handling P&I and FD&D matters on behalf of the members.
